1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Android application WhatsApp Status Saver, package name com.sharmatechlabs.whatsappstatussaver (the “App”), and this related website, provided by Sharma Tech Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms are an informational user agreement written in clear language. They are not a substitute for legal advice.
2. Description of Service
WhatsApp Status Saver is a utility that allows users to view, preview and save WhatsApp status images and videos that are already available on their device, making it easier to keep selected media for personal use.
The App does not provide WhatsApp messaging, does not log you into WhatsApp, and is not a replacement for the official WhatsApp application. Features may vary by device, Android version and App version.
3. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use Google Play and to enter into a binding agreement in your country. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
The App is intended for personal, lawful use on a device you own or are authorized to use.
4. Responsible Use
You agree to use the App responsibly and with respect for content ownership and other people’s privacy. Status media often belongs to the person who created or posted it.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right or permission to save, store or reuse any media they access. The App should not be used as a tool for unauthorized distribution or copyright infringement.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- How you use the App and any media you view, save, share or delete.
- Complying with applicable laws, including copyright, privacy and publicity laws.
- Keeping your device reasonably secure and up to date.
- Reviewing Android permissions you grant to the App.
- Any consequences of sharing saved media with others.
We do not monitor the contents of statuses on your device and cannot verify whether you have permission to save a particular file.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its name, logo, design, layout and original code, is owned by Sharma Tech Labs or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App to you. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on your Android device for personal use, subject to these Terms and Google Play’s terms.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute or create derivative works of the App except to the extent that applicable law expressly allows it.
7. Content Ownership
Status images, videos and other media that appear in the App belong to their original owners or licensors. Saving a copy to your device does not make you the copyright owner and does not give you a license to republish, sell or commercially exploit that content.
Sharma Tech Labs does not claim ownership of third-party status media accessed through the App.
8. WhatsApp Disclaimer
WhatsApp Status Saver is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC.
The App is not an official WhatsApp product. Any issues with WhatsApp itself should be directed to WhatsApp, not to Sharma Tech Labs.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to infringe copyrights, privacy rights or other legal rights.
- Use the App to collect, share or publish other people’s media without permission.
- Attempt to bypass Android security, other users’ accounts or WhatsApp’s own protections.
- Use the App for harassment, fraud, malware distribution or other unlawful activity.
- Misrepresent the App as an official WhatsApp or Meta product.
- Interfere with the operation of the App or related services.
10. Third-Party Services
Depending on the version of the application, the App may use third-party services for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, cloud infrastructure or other functionality. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The App may also depend on Google Play, Android system APIs and, indirectly, on files created by other applications on your device. We are not responsible for third-party products or for changes those products make that affect the App.
11. Advertising
Some versions of the App may display third-party advertisements. Ads are provided by external networks. We do not control every ad that may appear and do not endorse advertised products or services.
Clicking an advertisement may take you outside the App. Your interactions with advertisers are between you and the advertiser.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sharma Tech Labs disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or Android version, or that it will always locate every status file on your device. Status availability depends on how and where media is stored on your phone and may change when WhatsApp or Android updates.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sharma Tech Labs and its owners, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or device functionality, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the App in the twelve months before the claim (which may be zero if the App is offered free of charge).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Changes to the Service
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features of the App at any time, including for maintenance, legal, technical or business reasons. We may also stop supporting older Android versions.
Google Play updates may be required to continue using the App. We are not obligated to provide any particular feature indefinitely.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you continue to use the App after the updated Terms are posted, you are expected to review and accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the App and uninstall it.
16. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the App or related services if we believe you have violated these Terms, if we discontinue the product, or if we are required to do so by law or by a platform provider.
Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) will survive termination.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sharma Tech Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect.
